Congratulations on Six Months of Organizational Challenges!
If you’ve been with us since January, it’s time to celebrate! You’ve officially completed six months of engaging weekly organizational challenges. Take a moment to appreciate the progress you’ve made and the positive impact it’s had on your space.
Today, we return to the bathroom—a space that often needs our attention. Last week, we focused on decluttering the surfaces of your vanity. This week, we’re going to dig deeper and tackle the hidden clutter that tends to accumulate in various nooks and crannies of the bathroom.
Every bathroom is unique. Some feature cupboards, while others have drawers or even small closets tucked away in unexpected corners. We all know how easily these spaces can become cluttered. You might find items like:
- Band-aid release liners (yes, I had to look up the correct term!),
- Bobby pins and hair ties that have lost their purpose,
- Old nail polish that you’ll never use again,
- Stray cotton balls lurking in forgotten corners,
- A nearly empty bottle of acetone, abandoned with just one cotton ball’s worth left.
Why does this happen? It’s a mystery, but it tends to build up slowly over time, again and again.
Your mission this week is clear: Fix it! Discard anything that’s truly trash, donate personal care items that you know you won’t use, and neatly organize the remaining essentials. Consider vacuuming out each space before you return everything to its rightful place; you’ll likely discover stray hairs and other remnants that need to be cleaned up.
While this challenge may not yield a dramatic visual transformation, it offers a refreshing mental clarity. Just imagine how much better it will feel to have those hidden spaces organized!
