  • Add the following essential oils to a 4-ounce glass spray bottle:
  • 20 drops orange

  • CANDY CANE: 25 drops peppermint

I absolutely love creating dry body oils infused with essential oils! This one hydrates the skin like a body butter but feels silky and light like a dry body oil, with a delightful gingerbread scent. Combine the following in a glass bowl or measuring cup:

  • 1/4 cup fractionated coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup apricot kernel oil
  • 2 Tbsp rice bran oil
  • 2 Tbsp safflower oil
  • 1 tsp vitamin E oil
  • 30 drops ginger essential oil
  • 10 drops cinnamon essential oil
  • 10 drops clove essential oil
  • 10 drops nutmeg essential oil

Carefully pour the mixture into an 8-ounce glass spray bottle. To use: After a shower or bath, pat your skin dry, then apply this nourishing dry body oil to your arms and legs. It feels light and absorbs quickly, leaving a smooth finish. Tip: To avoid slippery bathroom floors from the oils, spray or apply the oils to your hands first, then rub into your arms and legs.

Shower steamers are incredibly easy to make and only require a few ingredients. The basic recipe is 1 cup baking soda, 1/3 cup distilled water, and 25 drops essential oil. It’s that simple!
