- Cut Out the Labels: This vinyl paper is perfect for essential oil DIY projects like these. It’s waterproof and oil-proof, and can be printed using an inkjet printer. Alternatively, you can print on plain paper, cut out the labels, and adhere them to clear packing tape before sticking them onto the bottles. It’s simpler than it sounds and is a cost-effective option!
- Apply the Labels: Stick the labels onto your roller bottles for a professional touch.
- Store Your Bottles: Keep your bottles organized in a stylish organizer like this one, which costs less than $5, including shipping!
- Take Your Roller Bottles On-the-Go: Use a beautiful essential oil bag for transport. I own a couple of these bags, and they are fantastic! They are not only aesthetically pleasing but also well-crafted, accommodating standard 5ml and 15ml essential oil bottles, as well as roller bottles.

- Begin with a 10 ml glass roller bottle.
- Add the specified drops of essential oil (see my favorite roller bottle blend recipes below).
- Fill the remaining space in the 10 ml roller bottle with a carrier oil. A little funnel, like these, can be very helpful for this task. Be sure to leave a small gap at the top to accommodate the roller ball. Here are some of my preferred carrier oils for these blends:
- Fractionated Coconut Oil: My top choice! It’s odorless, colorless, organic, and non-GMO.
- Jojoba Oil: Another favorite! It’s organic, GMO-free, cold-pressed, and unrefined. Jojoba oil closely resembles the sebum in human skin and is rich in Vitamin E, promoting a healthy glow. It’s suitable for all skin types, especially in the Nourish and Calm Skin blends.
- Rosehip Seed Oil: Organic, unrefined, and 100% pure. It’s excellent for dry and mature skin, offering moisture and high levels of Vitamin C.
- Sweet Almond Oil: Organic and food-grade, this oil is gentle and nourishing, making it ideal for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.
- Attach the roller ball securely.
- Shake the bottle to thoroughly mix the carrier oil with the essential oils.
Application Tips for Your Oils
- Immune Booster: Roll this blend on the bottoms of your feet, allow it to absorb, and then cover with socks.
- Tummy Tamer: Apply this on your stomach and gently massage it in.
- Muscle Soother: Directly roll this onto sore muscles and rub it in.
- Owie Stick: To maintain cleanliness, either roll the blend onto your fingers and apply it to the affected area, or roll it directly onto the skin and clean the roller ball after use.
- Anti-Itch Stick: Use the same method as the Owie Stick for best results.
- Seasonal Support: Roll this onto pulse points behind your ears and wrists, rub them together, and inhale deeply.
- Tension Tamer: Apply this blend to the base of your skull and temples, avoiding the eye area. If it accidentally gets into your eyes, do not use water; instead, dab with oil or splash with whole milk.
- Deep Breath: Roll onto the upper chest and pulse points on the wrists, rub together, and inhale.
- Anti-Stress: Apply to pulse points and deeply inhale after rubbing wrists together.
- Chill Out: Apply similarly to the Anti-Stress blend for maximum calming effects.
- Grounding Blend: Use this blend on pulse points for deep inhalation.
- Good Night Sleep Tight: Apply on the bottoms of your feet or on your wrists and chest for restful sleep.
- Energized: Use on pulse points for an uplifting boost.
- Let’s Focus: Apply to pulse points to enhance concentration.
- Joyful: Apply to pulse points to promote a positive mood.
- Nourish: Roll onto forehead and cheeks, gently massaging in.
- Clear Skin: Apply to forehead and cheeks, massaging gently.
- Calm Skin: Similar application as Clear Skin for soothing effects.
- Motivation: Use on pulse points for a boost of confidence and energy.
- Gratitude: Apply to pulse points to foster appreciation.
